The demand for public transportation is growing as part of a national trend, even in our region of Maine. This is resulting from a combination of economics, age, and personal preference.
This includes people travelling to work, higher education, shopping and retail services, recreational activities, entertainment, social visits and healthcare appointments.
Western Maine Transportation Services (WMTS) is conducting a survey, funded by MaineDOT, to guide us in meeting this new demand.

We’re seeking your input and assistance.

First, please take the survey. The survey can be found at www.wmtsbus.org and will be on-line only through May 15. Paper copies of the survey are available by calling 800-393-9335 ext. 208.

Second, please forward this email to all your contacts in the region, including employers, employees, organizations, clubs, schools, churches, your families and friends.

If you have a place to display it, we have a printable poster about the survey, please click here to download it.
